Claim, “पांढरे कोड सोरायसिस लायकेन प्लॅनस सारखे दुर्धर त्वचा विकार आणि यशस्वी आयुर्वेदिय उपचार. (Successful Ayurvedic treatment for rare skin conditions like vitiligo, psoriasis, lichen planus, and other chronic skin diseases)”, were not substantiated with supporting clinical evidence of consumers/patients who were successfully treated for rare skin conditions like vitiligo, psoriasis, lichen planus, and other chronic skin diseases. The claim was also not substantiated with details of the treatment procedure for treating these skin conditions, details regarding the medicines used, and their approval status by the regulatory authorities. The claim is misleading by exaggeration and is likely to lead to widespread disappointment in the minds of consumers. This advertisement is in contravention of Chapter I, Clauses 1.1, 1.4, and 1.5 of the ASCI Code. The complaint was Upheld.
