In the absence of required action on or before the prescribed due date, CCC considered this complaint exparte. Claim, “You can earn guaranteed profit of 1,75,000 per month”, was not substantiated with supporting data outlining the rationale for the claim made, as well as evidence of consumer franchisees who have achieved the claimed Rs. 1,75,000 monthly profit. The claims is misleading by exaggeration and is likely to lead to widespread disappointment in the minds of consumers. This advertisement is in contravention of Chapter I, Clauses 1.1, 1.4 and 1.5 of the ASCI Code. Complaint was Upheld.
