The Consumer Complaints Council (CCC) viewed the YouTube advertisement (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8rqkS5ob1Eo) and considered the complaint. The CCC observed that the advertisement shows a young couple being romantic in a private room while the girl’s uncle is present. The boy distracts him by throwing a pack of snacks. The CCC was of the view that the advertisement uses a comic situation to promote the product. It does not contain any vulgar or explicit content and is not seen as promoting immoral behaviour. The advertisement is not in contravention of the ASCI Code. This complaint was NOT UPHELD
