In the absence of a written response along with documents for substantiation on or before the prescribed due date, the CCC considered this complaint exparte.

Claims, "Visibly reduces fine lines and wrinkles”, and “Boosts collagen & skin elasticity", were not substantiated with clinical evidence or with clinical third-party test reports for product efficacy to prove that the advertiser’s product reduces fine lines, wrinkles and boosts collagen & skin elasticity, as claimed. 

The claims are misleading by exaggeration and are likely to lead to widespread disappointment in the minds of consumers.

The pack claim, “New Improved”, was not substantiated. There was no clarification provided as to which aspect of the product is new improved- viz the product’s utility, function, product design, package design, etc. 

This advertisement is in contravention of Chapter I, Clauses 1.1, 1.4 and 1.5 of the ASCI Code and ASCI Guidelines for Validity & Duration Of Claiming New/Improved. The complaint was Upheld.
