The advertiser has used the images of the prominent politicians - Prime Minister of India - Narendra Modi' and 'Prime Minister of Italy - Giorgia Meloni - for promoting their facewash brand. The advertiser has not provided evidence of express permission obtained from these politicians for using their images in the advertisement. In the absence of such permission, the use of their images confers an unjustified advantage on the advertised product.

This advertisement is in contravention of Chapter I, Clauses 1.3 of the ASCI Code. The complaint was Upheld.
