You were offered an option to seek Informal Resolution (IR) of the complaint by modifying or withdrawing the claim objected to in the advertisement, or alternately to substantiate the claim with the required supporting data. In the absence of a written response along with documents for substantiation on or before the prescribed due date, the ASCI Secretariat considered this complaint exparte. Claim, “No.1 institute which is giving most excellent results” was not substantiated with verifiable comparative data of the advertiser's institute versus other similar institutes to prove that they are in leadership position (No.1) for giving more excellent results than all the rest. The claim was not backed by an independent third party validation. The claim is misleading by exaggeration This advertisement is in contravention of Chapter I, 1.1 and 1.4 of the ASCI Code. This complaint was UPHELD by Secretariat.
